Waldo and his caveman counterpart
Waldo and Woof encounter their prehistoric counterparts in the Where's Waldo? television show episode "A Stone Age Story".
The prehistoric Waldini ancestor was introduced by the narrator as Waldo's "great-great-great-great-great...you get the idea, grandfather." This caveman looked and dressed similar to his modern day descendent; he dressed in a red and white striped cloth, wore a horned bobble cap and stone-rimmed glasses; and rather than a walking stick, he carried a large wooden club. Like Waldo, he too collects everything and loves to travel. The prehistoric Waldini is joined on his travels by his trusty dog Bark, who strikes a resemblance to Waldo's dog Woof.
